Modes in Last Epoch are settings or instances which change the dynamics of gameplay, and often the Game Features that are available.
Online and Offline Play[ | ]
Players can choose to play Online or Offline. Characters created for offline play will not be able to play online. The choice to play online or offline will be part of Character Creation.
PvP or PvE[ | ]
The choice to play in PvE or PvP is made through the instances, or Locations, that you go to in the World of Eterra.

These modes can can be enabled during character creation:

- Solo Challenge
