Enemies are Characters which will attack players, when attacked or moved to close enough by the player or their summon. Much like players, they use a unique set of skills and they don't want to let their adversaries live. They can be targeted by hovering over them with the mouse and it will display their health in red.

Spawn Mechanics[ | ]

Enemies are generally found in small clusters or alone in preset points of a level. They have a chance to spawn in higher rarities, granting them additional/enhanced properties:

  • magic enemies have one affix
  • rare (heroic) enemies have two affixes and mostly an additional skill

Some enemies may also be spawned as Minions of other enemies through their skills. Minions generally take increased damage and summoned ones tend to have health decay.

All enemies are affected by zone modifiers, as well as they gain a base resistance penetration that scales with area level. Enemies spawn with no resistance by default.

Hostile Characters[ | ]

Hostile Characters are enemies that will aggro onto and attack Players, Friendly Characters and Neutral Hostile Characters. Once aggroed they will continue to be aggroed on the character until their model despawns. When the player is close enough for the model to spawn again, they will re-aggro onto the character.

Neutral Hostile Characters[ | ]

Neutral Hostile Characters are enemies that will aggro onto and attack Players, Friendly Characters and Hostile Characters. Once aggroed they will continue to be aggroed on the character until their model despawns. When the player is close enough for the model to spawn again, they will re-aggro onto the character.
